Most of Myanmar people believe the supernatural powers of mythical creatures like “Belu” (an ogre) and “nats” (spirit). They offer “Pwe” (traditional offerings of bananas and coconut), worship and pray for their business, life, love, work, etc. and sometimes ask for help for their difficulties. They often come back to offer money and pay obeisance when their wish to overcome some difficulty has been fulfilled.
